OPA and Sasaki Associates are designing a new 60,000 gross square foot building to house the Business School. The facility will include five departments, specialty classrooms, study and computer labs. Among the most environmentally responsible colleges in the U.S., the project pursues Net Zero energy consumption for the building.

300 Corporate Place | Renovation and Restoration, new Canopy

The renovation of the curtain wall will restore the functionality and the beauty of the sloped glass lobby and glazed facades. A new steel and structural glass entrance canopy will protect and enhance the approach to the building.

The project calls for updating all the bathrooms and corridors around the bathroom core of the office building

The new design integrates new lactation rooms, accessible stalls and drinking fountains, and recreates the finishes with accent versions of the existing floor colors.

Taub Hall, Hartford Art School | Renovation

University of Hartford, Connecticut

The Renovation of the 1968 Taub Hall will open the lobby into an inviting gathering, exhibit and event place that will visually connect the front entrance of the Art school to the courtyard and Sculpture building beyond. Glass walls and new windows, minimal finishes and period fixtures and furnishing preserve the concrete structure and spirit of the original building.
