Military Working Dog Facility / Army National Guard
Renovation

Newtown, CT
$2,500,000

This is a prototype K-9 facility for the Army National Guard in the New England States.

This facility houses and trains dogs and their handlers for deployment in locations that require heightend security.

The site was an abandoned pig barn on a farm. The design converted the pig barn into 10 dog kennels and support spaces. An new administration building was constructed with a covered roof connection to the kennels.

Extensive site development was included for the dog training program.
